Is this for me?
Everyone is welcome to these events, you can talk about career, personal life, passions, whatever... you can bring it all to the table. You don’t have to be an expert in anything apart from yourself but you do have to be curious, kind, and eager to learn something new. At each event we have people from different industries, skill sets, and backgrounds, but we all have in common the fact that we’re up for trying something a bit different.
What is a Soundboard?
A Soundboard is a person who has skills or experience in an area you're interested in. They provide a safe and collaborative way to bounce ideas or be inspired with ideas.
What is Speed Soundboarding?
Speed Soundboarding is where we match you with another event attendee to have a 10 minute conversation, an exchange of experiences, and make a meaningful connection. How do we match you? Ahead of the event, you fill in this form, then based on your background, experiences, and interests, we hand pick another event attendee who we think you will have a great conversation with.
"The talk really opens your eyes up to alternative ways of thinking about your career and lifestyle and prepare you perfectly for your private 1:1s. Everything about Soundboard feels really positive and forward-thinking"
— Claud R.
More about our events:
How it works
At the point of sign up, you will be asked to share some details about yourself. The information is used to match you with a Soundboard.
You will receive an overview of who your matches are ahead of the event so you’re not going in blind.
Don’t worry, there will be no awkward conversations because we give you a topic to discuss with your match so no last-minute scrambling for what to say.
You make genuine connections and meet people you already have something in common with - we handpick a match for you based on pre-shared criteria which means you can skip the small talk and get right to the good stuff.
Don't let the fear of meeting someone new scare you off, guaranteed inspiration or your money back!
Why you should come?
You are looking for a source of inspiration and motivation on ways you could give back.
You want to make genuine connections with like-minded people.
You are curious, eager to learn something new, and have an open mind.
Anyone can join these events, you don't need to have any prior experience in any particular field, you just need to be curious and open to learning something new.
