Soundboard Events are a little different...

Here’s our thing: we want you to feel inspired, to bounce ideas, and meet like-minded people. How do we do that? Through Soundboarding!

Every few months we host a series of events where we bring in speakers who are doing something brilliant in the world to share their story. As well as this, we hold curated matches (through Zoom breakout rooms) where we handpick 2 other event attendees for you to meet with based on your interests, the industry you work in or your what you are passionate about.

Building connections with likeminded people is the heart of Soundboard, how else can we learn, inspire, and motivate each other? Sign up today - we can't wait to meet you!

What we'll cover...

We'll hear from Naresh Ramchandani, an inspiring force for good in the creative industry. As well as being a writer and partner at Pentagram Design, President of D&AD, and co-founder of mould-breaking cooperative creative agency St. Luke’s, and one of Britain’s most progressive creative agencies, Karmarama - Naresh also co-founded Do The Green Thing, a public service for the planet that uses creativity to tackle climate change.

At this Soundboard session, Naresh will speak about his experience working in communications and design with a social purpose. He'll talk about the role creativity can play to expand imaginations and contribute towards a fairer, more diverse and sustainable world.

A passionate environmental campaigner and expert communicator, Naresh will share the many imaginative solutions he's worked on to address the systems and powers which hold the most control and influence. We'll also hear about the impact and reach of the Do the Green Thing community, and how it has influenced over 45 million people to tackle the unsustainable status quo and live more sustainably.

You should attend this event if...

  • You're interested in hearing from an industry legend on the important role creativity, communications and design can play in social and cultural change.

  • You're interested in purpose based work with a social conscience.

  • You care about equality, justice and climate action.

  • You want to make genuine connections with like-minded people.

  • You are curious, eager to learn something new, and have an open mind.

Anyone can join these events, you don't need to have any prior experience in any particular field, you just need to be curious and open to learning something new.

How it works:

  • At the point of sign up, you will be asked to fill in a form like this. This information is used to match you with a Soundboard.

  • Ahead of the event, you will receive an overview of who your Soundboard matches are so you’re not going in blind to the matches.

  • There will be no awkward conversations because we give you a topic to discuss with your match so no last-minute scrambling for what to say.

  • You make genuine connections and meet people you already have something in common with - we handpick a match for you based on pre-shared criteria which means you can skip the small talk and get right to the good stuff.

Don't let the fear of meeting someone new scare you off, guaranteed inspiration or your money back!
